GlobeTech Goes Global

As part of the new parking management program, Mawaqif, Abu Dhabi Department of Transport (DoT) selected GlobeTech as their partner of choice to provide their innovated Central Parking Management System.

On May 2 2010, under the management of IMUM, gTicket was launched to manage 75,000 on-street and off-street parking spaces, making Mawaqif the largest parking project in the world. Mawaqif was designed to provide a world class central parking management system in the capital of the UAE, and therefore resolve the growing problem of congestion and parking faced daily by residents and visitors to Abu Dhabi.

The gTicket product provides a complete end-to-end IT solution including the mobile handhelds for Parking Inspectors, and a web based back office system that manages all aspects of Parking Management in the city of Abu Dhabi. gTicket streamlines the PVT process from issue to closure, increasing productivity and reducing in-field errors. Instant updates and up to the minute reporting ensure that all users benefit from the extensive operational features, and provide excellent customer service.

GlobeTech has a long history of working within the parking management sector . Meet the GlobeTech Team at Parkex 2010

GlobeTech will once again be appearing at the annual Parkex Exhibition; which will this year be held at Earls Court, London, 2nd – 3rd March 2010.

The highlight of the stand will be a practical demonstration of their intuitive GPS tracking system.

This system allows parking mangers to track CEOs at all times, greatly improving safety and efficiency.

Visitors to the GlobeTech stand will also be able to view the latest handheld innovations.

Kelly continues, “Some smaller Local Authorities and organisations may feel that a system like GTicket is out of their reach due to their size and budget restrictions. We offer two services to ensure that this is not the case.”

The GlobeTech stand will be a fully inactive experience, as the team believe it is important not to just talk about the system, but to give parking professionals an opportunity to experience it first hand.

Despite current headlines of global economic uncertainty, GlobeTech continue on the path of growth.

Recent expansion has seen the company take on new staff and move to modern offices suited to offering premier customer service and market leading development.

The new location at Cork City Airport Business Park puts GlobeTech right in the heart of growing commercial infrastructure, alongside some other large multinational organisations.
